Charities
The Group has supported and continues to support a number of charities. We do this because we believe it is important to share our success and help deserving organisations with which our brands have a natural affinity. These charities are:
Born Free Foundation - The Born Free Foundation campaigns for the protection and conservation
of animals in their natural habitat and against the keeping of animals
in zoos and circuses and as exotic pets. elephant.co.uk has been associated
with Born Free since 1999 and supports its campaigns to save the world’s
wild elephants.
Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice - The Ty Hafan Hospice is based in South Wales. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of children with life threatening disorders and their families in Wales by providing a high standard of respite and palliative care.
Race for Life - Cancer Research UK's Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Since 1994, women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK have come together at these inspiring events. Diamond is the official sponsor of volunteers for Race for Life in 2008 and 2009.
