Admiral commits computers to Cwmbran school

St David's Primary School in Pontrhydyrun near Cwmbran, has received 15 refurbished computers from South Wales based employer Admiral, to help expand the school's IT curriculum.

Admiral donated the computers after receiving an email from Sara Arthur, who is a governor at the school, asking if Admiral had any unwanted computers available, that the school could have. Ben Moriarty who works in Admiral's Recruitment department received the email and set the ball rolling, and before long, the school had received delivery of and installed 15 refurbished computers for its pupils to use.

Sara explains how the computers will help the school, "We are launching our new ICT curriculum this year and found ourselves woefully short of equipment and funds. Thankfully Admiral stepped in and became our digital hero! The computers are being used to integrate digital technology into our lessons and give them important life skills which are transferrable to higher education.
"We would like to give Admiral our heartfelt appreciation for their very kind donation of computers to our school."
