Admiral Group named one of the World’s best workplaces
Admiral Group has been named the 14th best workplace in the world on the annual 25 World’s Best Workplaces list.
More than 10 million employees from over 10,000 companies in 92 countries around the globe participated in the survey process for the World’s Best Workplaces list. The ranking assessed employees’ views on leadership, organisational culture, and trust. The top 25 workplaces were selected for creating globally exceptional employee experiences, high-trust relationships, and workplaces that are fair and equal for all.
Great Place to Work’s World’s Best Workplaces create cultures that are welcoming, friendly, inclusive, and ethical. An overwhelming majority of employees at the World’s Best say they’re proud of their workplaces. This is the fourth time Admiral has been named in the list having taken 18th position last year.
Admiral qualified due to a number of its operations around the world making the Best Workplaces list in their respective countries. Admiral was also named as the 8th Best Multinational Workplace in Europe earlier this year by Great Place to Work.
Admiral Group CEO, David Stevens, said, “We are incredibly proud to be named as one of the World’s Best Workplaces for the fourth consecutive year. Our success in this competition, and as a business, is down to the hard work of every person who works here and it's gratifying to see that our staff all around the globe think we’re a Great Place to Work.
“Whether based in Cardiff or Seville or Rome or Halifax, Canada, I cannot thank them enough for everything they do to make Admiral Group such a fantastic place to work. This is particularly true over the last six months when they have achieved so much to allow us to look after our customers, our communities and each other during this crisis.”
Great Place to Work’s CEO, Michael C. Bush, added, “Congratulations to the World’s Best Workplaces. These organizations not only have succeeded at creating a high-trust, inclusive, global culture, they have met the historic challenges of the past year with inspiring, deeply human responses. In the worst of times, the World’s Best have given us hope for a better future.”
Admiral employs 11,200 members of staff in eight different countries across the world, employing nearly 7,500 people in Cardiff, Swansea and Newport alone.
