The Company has been notified that on 12 December 2016, Karen Jones, wife of Geraint Jones (Admiral Group plc Chief Financial Officer) entered into a personal loan facility with UBS AG ("the Bank"), and granted a security interest in favour of the Bank over 46,729 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company as security for any amounts which may be due from time to time under the facility.
Karen Jones remains the beneficial owner of the shares subject to the pledge, and retains full voting rights.
