Background and experience
Emma Powell was appointed CEO of Admiral Money in May 2025.
Emma joined Admiral Money as a founding member in November 2016 as Head of Risk and Compliance. In January 2019 she took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, responsible for executing the Admiral Money strategy and providing leadership to all customer facing teams.
In June 2020, Emma became the Chief Risk Officer, responsible for compliance, enterprise risk management & credit risk strategy, articulating and influencing risk appetite, and chairing the Risk Management Committee and Credit Committee.
Prior to joining Admiral, Emma held various positions across the spectrum of financial services. Since November 2023, Emma has also held a Director role for the Finance & Leasing Association (the largest industry trade body for asset, consumer and motor finance sectors in the UK).
