Board Member, AIS
Paola Cagliani was appointed Group Chief Data Officer in January 2026, having previously served as European Chief Information and Data Officer from January 2025, and Chief Data Officer from February 2022. She leads Admiral’s global data and AI strategy, driving enterprise growth, operational scale, and customer outcomes across the Group.
Since joining Admiral, Paola has driven the Group's data transformation, establishing cloud-based data foundations across European operations and leading the strategic steering for AI adoption. Her focus centres on scaling Generative and Agentic AI, embedding robust governance, and accelerating value creation through data-driven innovation.
Prior to Admiral, Paola held senior leadership roles in data, AI and customer strategy at ENI, Vodafone, and IBM. Over a 20-year career, she has led large-scale digital and data transformations across the insurance, telecommunications, energy, and technology sectors.
Paola holds a Master's degree in General Management from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the University of Milan.
